WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: "This is a good football player in a very deep tackle draft. I think in some other years you're talking about this player being a second-round-type guy." _ NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah on Moore.
"He played pretty good against the first-round pick we got." _ Steelers inside linebackers coach Jerry Olsavsky on Johnson.
"I feel like I'm someone who can really make an impact on and off the field on the team. Being at Wisconsin, they really drill into us being smart and dependable. I really took that to heart so I feel like that's the type of person I am." _ Loudermilk to USA Today in April.
"This kid can flat out rush the passer." _ ESPN analyst Louis Riddick on Roche.
"I do know of Mike Hilton, kind of that Swiss Army Knife guy. That's something I feel I can do, as well." _ Norwood.
"We think we're a better team today than we were yesterday. That's always the goal coming out of this process." _ Steelers General Manager Kevin Colbert.
WHERE THEY FIT: The Steelers envision Moore as a player capable of providing depth initially as a swing tackle because of his experience on the left side and his perceived capability to play on the right side ... Johnson is considered to be an inside linebacker that can play downhill and cover on defense, and also contribute on special teams ... Loudermilk has been a hand-in-the-ground defensive lineman at Wisconsin and projects as a 3-4 defensive end with position flexibility/versatility along the defensive front. He usually played between 285-295 pounds, shed weight for his Pro Day and has since begun putting weight back on, something he said the Steelers requested he continue to do ... Roche will have an opportunity to assume the role of situational/rotational edge rusher Alex Highsmith fulfilled last season as a rookie ... Norwood played all over the secondary at Oklahoma and took over as the nickel back as last season progressed. The Steelers have a potential opening at slot corner.
